Trillium Ridge Flora and Fauna
Great Horned Owl
Bubo virginianus
Location: Somewhere in the trees
Found from the Arctic tundra to the tropical rainforest, from the desert to suburban backyards, the Great Horned Owl is one of the most widespread and common owls in North America. We have never seen it, but an owl lives somewhere close by, and sounds like a Great horned Owl. We hear it most nights
